Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 30, 2026

Observito is a focus, tasks and journaling app for iPhone, made by mylofs. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use it. The short version: we don't collect any of it.

What we collect

Nothing. Observito has no account and no sign-in, and it contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code and no third-party SDKs. We never receive your tasks, focus sessions, journal entries, moods, challenges, photos or anything else you put into the app.

What stays on your iPhone

Everything you create in Observito is stored on your device, inside the app:

Widgets read a small summary of today's plan that the app shares with them on your device. It never leaves your iPhone.

Photos for the vision board are ones you choose yourself through Apple's photo picker. The app keeps a copy on your device so it can show them; they are never uploaded.

Optional iCloud backup

iCloud backup is off unless you turn it on in Settings. If you do, a backup of your data is saved to your own iCloud Drive, using Apple's iCloud under your Apple Account and Apple's own terms and privacy policy. We cannot see or access it. You can also export a backup file by hand and keep it wherever you like.

Notifications

If you allow them, reminders (such as a session ending or a daily nudge) are scheduled by the app on your device. There is no notification server, and nothing about your day is sent anywhere to create them.

Motion

The app may use your iPhone's motion sensor so the liquid in the Focus jar tilts as you move the phone. Motion data is used live for that effect only and is never stored or shared.

Purchases

Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your name, email or payment details. The app only asks Apple, on your device, whether this Apple Account has an active purchase, so it can unlock Observito. Cancellations and refunds are managed by Apple.

Children

Observito is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. Because the app collects no personal information, none is collected from children either.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes everything it stored on your iPhone. If you turned on iCloud backup, you can delete that backup from your iPhone's Settings under your Apple Account → iCloud → Manage Storage.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
